This evening of fun-filled painting will go over the basics of Fluid Art, the different types and techniques. Tired of being stuck at home and looking for something fun to try? Want to spice up your date night or girls' night out?This is a group event for all levels of experience.Description: Painting is more than just a hobby. Studies have shown that painting relieves stress, expands creative growth, improves memory, and even enhances problem-solving and motor skills. How can one activity provide all of these benefits? Artistic endeavors provide an emotional release to the stress we all encounter each day. It also gives more analytical thinkers an opportunity to exercise their creative side and sharpens the mind through concept visualization. Finally, painting is just fun, and experimenting, trying, and figuring things out is a great way to grow personally. This evening of fun-filled painting will go over the basics of Fluid Art, the different types and techniques, as well allow participants to try out two different techniques. You will leave with two finished 8x10 pieces. Be sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty as fluid art can be messy art. If your art isn't dry enough by the end of the class and you want to dry at our studio, we are happy to let it dry with us for a week. You must schedule a pick-up time before you leave. This is one example of a fluid art that has been digitized. Notice the layers of colors, the cells, and the composition. This was all done by pouring paint and mixing with water and paint medium. No paintbrushes were used.
