Description
It is with much heartbreak that I am having to rehome my dog, Blue Belle. I adopted her from the shelter only a couple weeks ago, despite them not knowing much about her. While I love her dearly, and desperately wanted to give her a good home, it's become apparent even over our short time together that she needs much more than I can give. I am heartbroken over this, as I was planning to have her for a long time.
She is a husky mix (suspect with German Shepherd), five years old, 56 pounds, and she needs to go to a home with a very active family, and preferably a yard. She plays very well with other dogs, and would likely enjoy having a friend in the home to run around with. Someone who is mostly home would be great, but she is happy to be home alone for a couple hours, as long as she's had exercise.
I suspect she was abused previously, as she does startle every now and then if someone surprises her. She gets very submissive afterwards, and just needs a little reassurance. She is the sweetest dog, and I was lucky to have her.
She'll come with bowls, harness, leash, car clip and seat cover, food and treats, some toys, her bed, and brushes. She has a vet appointment in April just to check her over, and I already paid the deposit so I am happy to just let them know someone else is bringing her. I am asking a rehoming fee, but I am flexible as I really just want her to be happy.
