Ground Crew/Glacier Guide: As a Ground Crew/Glacier Guide you will work at the TEMSCO base or on the Mendenhall Glacier and are responsible for maintaining tour flow and safety for all helicopter tours. This is a safety sensitive position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Greet passengers as they arrive at base and clearly present FAA required safety information - Prepare guests for their tour, including answering guests’ questions and providing glacier boots - Assist passengers loading and unloading from helicopters - Maintain the safety of guests while on the glacier - Work outside in varying weather conditions for up to 12 hours a day - Follow Ramp Supervisor and Pilot instruction to fuel aircraft as needed To be a successful TEMSCO Ground Crew/Glacier Guide applicants should be: - Enthusiastic about interacting with guests from around the world - Excited to work with a team but able to work independently - Safety and customer service focused - Willing to learn
