Caltrans To Work On Fire Damaged Roads In Marin Until June 2021

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Crews will begin to repair roads damaged by the Woodward Fire Monday, reducing traffic flow to one lane along Highway 1 in Marin County for the next several months. Caltrans will work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays along the stretch of highway between Stinson Beach and Lone Tree Creek. Reverse traffic control measures and flaggers will help reduce two-lane traffic to a single lane in work zones. The repair work is expected to continue through the end of June in 2021. The Woodward Fire at Point Reyes National Seashore started Aug. 18 and burned for more than a month before it was fully contained. Bay City News contributed to this report.
