Description
Are you passionate about serving your community and forming a non profit? In my workshop you will learn all the basics!
Have you ever had a strong desire to serve your community as an active leader? Have you ever wondered what it takes to start your own nonprofit? Are you curious about what steps and fees are involved with starting up your own nonprofit? In my workshop you will learn the answers to these questions and how to identify and create the structure you need to fulfill your vision.
You will learn what a 501 c (3) status is and about the many sub-statuses that exist related to your tax-exempt status. You will learn the descriptions and purposes of the many different components of an effective nonprofit structure.
You will also be primed to get started right away and have access to resources to begin searching for funding based on eligibility criteria met by your non profit tax exempt and sub status. Its important to understand these foundational landscapes in order to negotiate the terrain of todays non profit world!
All paid attendees will be entered into a drawing for a free gift at the workshop, receive courtesy gift bags, and refreshments will be provided for you. I hope to see you there!
