The annual “ Always Bet on Red “ chili competition is being held at Shannon View Inn on Post Road, Warwick on SATURDAY APRIL 2nd. We have THREE spots left for anyone who considers themselves the king or queen of chili. Do you think you make the best chili? Now is your time to prove it. We know times are tough, so we are not charging an entry fee. However, we are giving $300 for first place, $200 for second place and $100 for third place. More importantly, this event is being sponsored by the Elizabeth C. Grey Foundation who are tirelessly dedicated to raising funds for wildlife rescues and ALS research. This is going to be a tremendously well attended event by people who understand raising money for these causes is worthwhile. You can be a professional chef or the best cook in your house. It doesn’t matter. We aren’t charging people to come to the event but all donations are appreciated. So, contact me directly. We need three more contestants. I will provide the information you will need to know to enter. Again, No entry fee ! So, do you think you have what it takes to be labeled someone who makes “the best chili in Rhode Island?” Well, come and improve it ! If you don’t want to enter the competition, please come by and support this event. All donations are tax deductible and going to a good cause.
