The Chattanooga Building Company designs and builds fences, decks, patios, hardscape, and sheds to create a livable outdoor space for sophisticated clients within the area. We are looking to expand our team of fence and deck builders. We offer full-time positions with above average pay, and a growth opportunity to become a Build Team Leader. We are a tight group that works well together and has a fun time on the job. Remote work is not an option. Requirements: 1. At least 1 year of construction experience is preferred 2. Knowledge of basic tool concepts 3. Acquires basic math skills, especially related to understanding measurements 4. Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license 5. Ability to work independently and in a group setting 6. Ability to interact with fellow team members and customers in a respectful and professional manner 7. Ability to effectively follow specific directions 8. Possess strong focus of safety, quality, and productivity Responsibilities: 1. Assist lead builder in the build/remodel of fences and decks using expertise outlined by Chattanooga Building Company, while directly satisfying customer needs 2. Safely perform all aspects of job in compliance with federal, state, and local laws 3. Load/unload materials needed for job 4. Effectively communicate with other team members and customers in a respectful and professional manner
