It's Tea O'clock! This will be a whimsical social gathering, with options to discuss and purchase tea from three local blenders. Pinkies Up! Come spend the afternoon with three local tea blenders. Snowshoe's Workshop is teaming up with Queen Esther Teas and Yaupon Tea Co. to host the March Hare Tea Party this year. Upon arrival choose the teacup that you will use for the afternoon, then head to the tea table and sample teas that are locally crafted by your talented hosts. This is a free, outdoor event, so bring your love of tea, a blanket or camp chair, and a little bit of madness; it is sure to be a tea party to remember. There will be a croquet pitch set for anyone who wishes to embrace their inner Queen of Hearts. Don't forget to stop inside the Emporium Rock Shop, and be sure to check out all the varieties of tea that your hosts will have for sale. Yaupon Tea Co. was founded by two former UNCW students, they re-discovered the only native caffeinated plant that was lost to history, yaupon holly. Yaupon has a rich history in the US and is known for its smooth flavor, unique caffeine experience, and high amounts of powerful antioxidants Queen Esther Teas was started 3 years ago by Adrienne Kenion. The teas are organic, all natural, and a great way to begin or enhance one’s journey to wellness. These blends are not only good for you but they taste great as well.
