Topics covered will be germinating seeds, hardening off plants, staking, trellising. fertilizing and pest control. Taught by Rob Chase, Rob operated an Organic farm on the shoreline of CT for 10 years, distributing produce through a local CSA,as well as selling at a farmers market and to local restaurants- before retiring to Grass Valley in 2015. He has always started his plants from seed and has been using soil blocks for more than 15 years.
