This event is part of the La Mesa Sustainable Fair in promotion of Earth Day hosted by Scisters. The fair will boast varied local sustainable vendors with a variety of products for sale! Did you know that the fashion industry is the second biggest contributor (behind oil) to global pollution? This means that buying new is not without a guilty conscience. Positive Phee makes it easy to avoid bring a part of this vicious cycle! Instead of purchasing new, why not refresh your wardrobe sustainably (& affordably) with a curated clothes swap experience*. Fill a bag with Positive Phee gorgeous goodies for a sustainable closet refresh! About Scisters! Scisters Salon is San Diego’s first Zero Waste Salon, offering beauty products in bulk and various other supplies for living a zero waste, intentional lifestyle. An immense amount of thought is given to how the salon is operated, the services offered, and the options of products that are used and retailed. The team takes pride in finding and customizing products with easily recognized ingredients, eliminating toxins, and integrating wellness in your beauty routine. Every ticket includes: ✔️ a bag to fill with @positive_phee gorgeous goodies ✔️ handmade soap from @scisters apothecary ✔️ @positive_phee upcycled scrunchie (our sustainable alternative to an event wristband) ✔️ the option to donate clothing that no longer serves you to the local community* ✔️ access to the La Mesa Sustainable Fair hosting various sustainable local vendors *Clothes donations are encouraged but not required for this event. This will be a womenswear only event but donations can include womenswear, menswear & kids clothing & accessories. Items can be brought to the event or if possible dropped at Positive Phee in Hillcrest (contact Sophie to arrange drop-off) anytime (not required to be on the day of or before the event). Capacity for this event is limited to 25 guests. Stock will be refreshed throughout the event. It is recommended to purchase your ticket in advance.
