No Water No Beer Festival 2022 Georgia Beer Co. Join us for the first ever No Water No Beer Festival hosted by City of Valdosta Utilities Department on Saturday, May 7th at Georgia Beer Co. All proceeds will benefit Water For People; Water For People is a global nonprofit that helps people bring clean water and sanitation solutions to their communities for generations to come. Clean water is one of our planet's most valuable resources. It is critical to everything that we do. The food we eat, the electricity that powers our homes, and the cities and towns in which we live are all highly dependent upon having reliable sources of clean water. Even the beer that we drink is 90% water. Sadly, more than 780 million people in this world do not have access to clean water. To help show the importance of clean water and the fact that with No Water there would be No Beer, the City of Valdosta Utilities Department has partnered with Georgia American Water Works Association (GAWWA) and is hosting the first annual No Water, No Beer Festival®. This Festival is to recognize National Water Week. This year we have an exciting venue at the Georgia Beer Company, the southernmost brewery in the state. The event will include delicious food, great music, and some of the best beer in the South. All proceeds from this event will benefit Water for People. Water For People is a global nonprofit organization that helps people bring clean water and sanitation solutions to their communities . We invite you to join us in supporting Water for People through your sponsorship and attendance at this fundraiser at Georgia Beer Company. Tickets are available (a limited number of tickets are now available at the lowest price, and the cost will increase as the event approaches).
