In recognition of "Developmental Disability Awareness Month" We will be hosting our 1st Annual Fashion show My name is Shetevia the reigning Ms. Florida US Nation 2022. My team and I will be hosting our 1st annual fashion show in recognition of "Developmental Disability Awareness Month" Our purpose is to educate on Disable and Special needs kids with talent that never gets a fair shot and experience life to its fullest because of their challenging condition. I want to encourage individuals to believe that if you passionately want something, work hard for it.” Moreover, to never forget that you are capable of becoming whomever you desire no matter what the circumstances are. One stereotype I would like to break is contributing to diversity; and ignoring “beauty standards” such as physical characteristics. To be accepting of all sizes, all body types, all backgrounds, all disabilities, I believe every human being adds their own beauty to the world. This event will bring forth Confidence, boost self-esteem and build self-empowerment while dealing with their challenging disability.
