SAN LEANDRO, CA — It's important to make a good first impression when you go to a job interview. That lesson came with a how-to demonstration in San Leandro recently. Alameda County Sheriff's Deputy Dan Micke made a traffic stop in unincorporated San Leandro. While chatting with the driver, he found out that he was on the way to a job interview. One problem — he didn't know how to properly knot a tie. Micke demonstrated around his own neck, and then slipped the tie over his head and handed it into the car for the driver to slip on and tighten. The sheriff's office shared a video about the traffic stop on social media. The department wrote, "Moments like this make us even more proud of the men and women who work here!" Dozens of people agreed in the comments section. Trish Kelley wrote, "That was awesome.. Thank you sir for standing out in your community stay safe out there…" Christine Price said, "Class act right there." Glo Sunshine added, "This is serving our community on a whole different level! Love this!" Watch the video on Facebook.
