Join our team, the Bay Area's best service company and a leader in the Commercial Exercise Equipment industry. Fit-Tech established in 1989. We specialize in sales, service and maintenance of fitness centers through the bay area. This technician's territory will be mostly in the South Bay, Fremont, Santa Clara, Palo Alto. The ideal candidate must have the ability to adapt to constantly changing demands and and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must possess excellent written and verbal skills. Company service vehicle provided. Job Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair variety of exercise equipment, treadmills, cross trainers, bikes, weight equipment. Provide regular maintenance to same equipment. Drive to customer's sites. Provide excellent customer service to each and every customer. Assemble and deliver equipment from time-to-time. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications & Requirements: Experience repairing and maintaining exercise equipment, preferred but not required. Time Management skills. Proven strong mechanical skills, required. Punctuality and reliability required. Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language. Ability to read assembly instructions. Excellent driving record. Copy of recent DMV report is required. Ability to learn and understand company service management software. Knowledge and use of basic hand tools. Physical Demands: Continual standing, walking, kneeling crouching, sitting. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, at times up and down stairs. Occasional. Continuous use of hands, fingers and arms. Able to drive to and from various job sites. Company pays 75% of health insurance, 401K, company matching after 1 year of employment. 1 week vacation after 1 year. Paid holidays. Paid drive time. M-F 9-5 Occasional overtime
