My boss called me into his office today (with the other partner and the HR manager in the office) to tell me I am fired. I tried so hard to so back the tears. Was almost unsuccessful. Thank god for the mask. It's been over two months but my EDD claim is still pending. EDD tells me it could take 27 weeks for them to process... Those people at EDD have a job so no rush.
