LONG GROVE, IL — Gilmer Road and Krueger Road are back open as of 1 p.m. Monday in Long Grove after downed power lines in the area caused road closures just hours before, according to the Lake County Sheriff's office. The sheriff's office announced the closures just after 11:30 a.m. Monday at Gilmer Road from Diamond Lake Road to Krueger Road, and Krueger Road between Route 22 to Diamond Lake Road. Over 1,000 customers remain without power while ComEd tends to the situation, and restore time is unknown as of Monday night. Patch will update this news as information becomes available.
