A great opportunity for students in the medical field or for someone that has a flexible schedule and enjoys caring for the elderly with cognitive impairment. Part-time In-Home Caregiver needed for my 86 year old Mom with dementia. Caregiving experience is helpful but I'm willing to work with and train the right person that has a positive attitude. Must be willing to be flexible to work mostly days but also some evenings and overnights. Attention to detail and able to follow directions is essential. Offering 25 hours per week. Major duties include: - personal care (reminders to brush teeth and change clothes, colostomy care, sponge baths and showers, brush hair, etc.) - prepare meals - administer medications - Some cleaning around the house - attention to detail about certain diet restrictions (VERY IMPORTANT!!!) - enjoying activities together such as playing a game, watching a movie, reading, etc. Looking to fill position within a couple of weeks. Non-smokers please. We are a pet friendly home. Thank you so much!
