Pair Arrested After Multi-Week Queen City Vandalism Investigation

MANCHESTER, NH — Two men were arrested Thursday after a multi-week investigation into dozens of smashed windows on vehicles and homes in the Queen City. Back on April 7, Manchester police received several reports of rocks bring thrown at homes and cars in the city's North End, specially Ash, Blodgett, Chestnut, and Sagamore streets, according to Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the department. "Some victims heard glass breaking and saw a vehicle driving away but didn't get a look at the occupants," she said. "In total, there were 15 reports, 20 victims and approximately $16,000 worth of damage." Police worked the case and were able to locate the car investigators accused of being involved in the spree. This led police to Antonio Brito, 21, of Peterborough, and Tyler Finley, 18, of Greenfield, who were later charged with multiple counts of criminal liability for the conduct of another, criminal mischief, and conspiracy to commit criminal mischief, "some of which are felony charges," Hamel added. Brito and Finley were released on personal recognizance bail and are due in superior court later. Additional charges for another suspect are pending, Hamel said.
