Dog hit by car in pedestrian crossing in front of Petco in Lake Zurich:( On July 15, at approximately 3:45 pm, when I was walking with my leashed yellow lab into Petco, she was hit by a car coming from the direction of Trader Joe's. We were both in the pedestrian crossing. Several good Samaritans, who witnessed the incident, stopped to offer aid by phoning 911 and emergency vet clinics. Were you one of the caring individuals who was there, or do you know someone who was? Firstly, if so, thank you for your help that day, you were so kind and helpful! Secondly, you all gave me, or offered, your phone numbers. You said you wanted to tell the police/insurance what you witnessed. Distraught about my dog, I did not secure the pieces of paper with your numbers, I apologize. Also, I knew all of you had places to go, so aid you need not wait for the police to arrive.
