RV Lube Technician (Production Line)
Initial Wage Range: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour
Working Conditions: Seasonal employment from May 1st through October 7th, 2022. Five days a week including weekends with 1/2 hour lunch, between 7am and 6pm. 30 to 50 hours per week.
Supervisor: Production Manager or Designee
Organizational Unit: Maintenance Department
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to provide light maintenance and inspection of RV rental fleet (on our fast-paced production line). Includes activities such as; scheduled oil changes, filling fuel, propane, and freshwater tanks, dumping and rinsing wastewater tanks, and other systems and safety checks.
Responsible to assist in opening and closing of business for rental season. Includes such tasks as winterizing motor homes, preparation of vehicles for rental, storage, and/or sale.
Responsible for the neatness and good order of work area and common areas.
Responsible for maintaining individually assigned tool kit. Includes financial responsibility for any damaged or missing tools.
If needed, responsible to assist Housekeeping and Customer Service departments in preparing motor homes for rental.
All other duties as may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a current Alaska driver’s license, a good driving record, which must be maintained during employment duration. A current copy of employee driving records is required prior to beginning employment.
Must be able to lift tire with rim, onto tire and balance machine. Approximately 72 pounds.
Must wear company-approved safety glasses or face shield when required.
Must effectively punch in and out of the company time clock for the workday and lunch periods.
Must be able to work until October 7th, including weekends and holidays.
Must maintain consistent and reliable attendance, including reporting to work on time.
