I am a 78 y/o male, not in the best health. I live alone on my monthly SS benefits, which just covers rent, utilities, medication, medical expenses, when needed. I can't afford a car, haven't since 1999. Today I received my snap benefits letter. I must now live on 75 cents of food per day. It will be a long rest of the month. Tonight's dinner was a cup of oat meal. That will be it until tomorrow's dinner. which will be cheese and crackers. I've been living like this for over a year. Thanks Gov. Abbott for taking away what little food I had.
