Carmella and Bashful are the purrfect pair. They are bonded and love each other. They came from the same little farm where they were outside cats who never really got attention from the people. The whole group was ignored, not fed, not given shelter. But they survived by clinging to each other. Carmella and Bashful still believe in that rule; take care of each other. Carmella loves Bashful but she also really loves her people and having a home with food and water and love and being warm when it's so cold outside. She is very happy getting belly rubs and cuddles. Bashful loves Carmella and he is dedicated to making sure she is okay. He is such a handsome Maine Coon looking boy. He does very much enjoy having a real home and a family. He's not ready to be a baby type cat on a lap. But he appreciates the comforts and is happy to be loved. He is shy with humans and will take some time to trust but he is a gentle, sweet boy who deserves a great family with his best friend Carmella. They are young adults, maybe 4 - 6 years old and beautiful. They will get along with other cats and probably do fine with a mellow dog. When spring comes and they are bonded with their people, they will need a fun yard to go outside and enjoy the world that they lived in their whole lives, with trees and breezes and birdsong. In Anchorage. Fixed, vaccinated and chipped. Available for adoption through Clear Creek Cat Rescue. We do not allow declawing.
