We're looking to hire a part-time (24 hours per week) experienced hotel maintenance engineer to round off an already great team! We are an intimate, privately held company operating two recently renovated and recognized hotels on the beach in Carlsbad, California. Responsibilities as maintenance engineer include assisting the Chief Engineer in maintaining the hotel including physical building structures, all mechanical components electrical wiring, HVAC systems and related equipment for preventive maintenance programs. Providing the upkeep of guest areas and managing all on-site issues that may arise. The position requires a hands-on knowledge of HVAC, boilers, electrical, plumbing, laundry, painting and mechanical equipment and repairs and replacement skills. Skills certifications in HVAC, electrical & plumbing a plus. Your schedule would be: part-time/24 hours per week, Mondays-Thursdays. You can choose to work either: 8hrs a day, 3 days a week; OR 6hrs a day, 4 days a week.
