Looking to start a band from complete scratch, get into a room and make noise with the goal of writing songs. I’ve been inspired lately by some modern punk bands along the lines of Idles, drug church, Fiddlehead, Single Mothers, Heavy Lung, Meatwave etc.. And some noisier projects like Young Widows, these arms are snakes, blood brothers and so on. Lots of name dropping but if you know you know. I prefer really angular guitar work but also have an appreciation for country, folk and emo and would hope to find some people that just want to have fun writing without hard boundaries. I’m a guitarist looking for bass, drums, guitar and maybe a vocalist later on. I have experience and would love to work with other experienced players as well. I have an interesting work schedule so this wouldn’t be a serious commitment as it’s hard to get together often.
