Summary/Objective Under general supervision, the Maintenance Technician Trainee performs, repairs, modifies, and completes preventative maintenance tasks on buildings, facilities, equipment, and systems. Job Responsibilities Perform repair, modification, and preventive maintenance tasks on buildings, facilities, equipment, and systems. Knowledge of OSHA guidelines related to electrical equipment, high-energy systems, confined spaces, rotating machinery, and handling hazardous materials Conduct tasks related to construction trades such as plumbing, carpentry, and painting Demonstrates skills in complex mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repair Demonstrates skills in electrical systems diagnosis and repair Ability to prioritize projects under tight time constraints Ability to follow oral and written instructions Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with other employees and vendors Must be able to communicate effectively with others on a constant basis Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Accident & Life insurance Paid time off & Paid Holidays Education and Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent 1+ years’ experience Additional Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older to apply Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry Able to life items weighing up to 70 lbs. on occasion Able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch or crawl on a frequent basis Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
