MARTINEZ, CA — Contra Costa County health officials Thursday reported another 243 confirmed coronavirus infections and two additional deaths, including the first one in El Cerrito since the start of the pandemic. The other was in Walnut Creek. The total number of cases recorded since early March stands at 10,482, and the death toll from coronavirus rose to 151. This has been a particularly deadly week.
