We are growing our team and accepting applications for our Tire Tech position. Tire Technicians with Best Tire Center are an intricate part of the team! Having the primary responsibility for all aspects of servicing the customers tires along with their ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast paced environment is one of the most important factors in building a dedicated customer base. The position reports to the store manager and interacts directly with other associates and sometimes directly with the customer. In this position, the employee will find themselves working on tires for all different types of vehicles including family or sport cars, sport utility vehicles, trucks, lawn mowers, tractors and more providing the vehicle weighs around a ton or less. Install tire/wheels assemblies weighing up to 75 lbs with lifting assistance. Drive vehicles into and out of the service areas. Provides excellent customer service, promotes store sales. Inspect and perform maintenance on tires including but not limited to repairing, rotating, and correctly inflating. Attaching and rebalancing wheels. Conduct maintenance on or install new TPMS systems. Washing tires and wheels Assisting other employees as needed. Unload, check in and stock incoming tire and parts shipments Participates in job training Provides basic maintenance and cleaning duties of facilities and equipment. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: This is an entry-level position so no experience is required or necessary 1+ years of automotive experience preferred. Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have a valid Drivers License. Ability to effectively verbally communicate with customers and co-workers. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Ability to take direction from leadership. Must be task-oriented, self-directed, detail-oriented, and reliable. Strong reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
