Hello! Lia went to East Los Angeles College in 2016 as a mathematics major and transferred to UC Berkeley in Fall, 2018. She graduated from UC Berkeley in May 2020 as an Applied Mathematics major. Now, she is pursuing her master's degree in math. Lia had about 4 years of tutoring experience which includes volunteering at the Boys& Girls Club and helping elementary students with their math, science, and English Homework; teaching Trigonometry and Calculus 1 at the East Los Angeles College (ELAC), teaching at the UC Berkeley Afterschool University and she is currently a TA( Teaching associate and teaching pre-calculus with algebra(22 students) this semster ). These experiences familiarized her with how students think about and approached a problem, which helps her make effective personal study guides for each of her students. One of her students, who failed Trigonometry twice, eventually received an A because of the effective study plan she made for him. Lia can do one-to-one online/in-person tutoring. Lia is avaible after May 16.
