Not only does it not want people who work for a living but its city government, it's Chamber of Commerce and the trash from out of state could care less about supporting you or any businesses in town. Roads, Sewer, and water had been ignored for decades and the poor guy trying to keep it going is fighting a losing battle due to the city ignoring all but the rich on the lakes. Don't waste your hard earned money to invest in a house here. MRID taxes you and has given up 20 of the 23 amenities it has supported in past. While raising the fees to support the Golf course which is mismanaged. Plenty of other communities that would better serve you as a citizen.
