Albuquerque based Mechanical contractor in urgent need of Lead HVAC Journeyman. The qualified candidate will possess the following skills: - Good driving record with a valid driver's license - Experience as lead on trade-specific HVAC new and/or enhanced/tenant-improvement-related commercial projects - Be able to Read/interpret contract documents, architectural, structural and mechanical drawings - Be able to Read/interpret submittals and shop drawings -Perform layout and installation of sheet-metal focused items and materials -Install, update, troubleshoot and/or repair trade-specific/project-specific assignments -Perform other trade-specific assignments and tasks -Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques -Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring and operating principles of motors -Understands and willing to follow proper safety techniques -Ability to follow controls/wiring schematics a plus - Has the Ability to braze, solder, weld - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions - Ability to effectively communicate with others in crew and delegate tasks -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material -EPA Certified with a Journeyman License in Sheet Metal and Refrigeration a plus Job Type: Full-time $28-35/hr depending on experience Benefits that may be available to the right candidate include: - Company vehicle - Health insurance - 401k - Profit sharing plan This position is ideal for a motivated self-starter interested in growing with the company from the ground up.
