The City of Monroe is hiring for seasonal positions in Public Works and the Parks departments. The positions may last for up to 5 months. Pay rate is $18-$24 per hour depending on experience. Typical duties for Parks positions include maintaining grounds and facilities to include mowing, raking, weeding and janitorial duties. For Public Works positions typical duties include mowing, painting, traffic control, and providing support for utility maintenance activities. Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Positions require the use of City vehicles.
