Available for adoption is an exceptionally sweet bunny. Chewbunka is one of the gentlest does you'll have the pleasure of meeting. Carrots and apple slices are among her favorites, however Beet leaves and Swiss Chard are a close second and third. The occasional banana peel is also an odd, but favored, snack. Chewbunka's story is an interesting one: Several domestic rabbits were turned loose to fend for themselves. A dear friend of ours discovered them and began live-trapping them to adopt out to good homes. Chewbunka was one of several kits born from these abandoned rabbits. We have fostered her up to now, and she is 7 months old, ready for her forever home. Chewbunka is robust and has a bright, cheerful personality. She is a very happy rabbit! She loves people and exploring. Easy to catch and hold, her best quality is that she doesn't bite. Having her nose pet is her favorite thing in the world. She has a super soft Lilac-style coat. In Winter her coat is "ticked" with darker gray and brown hairs. Though she lives outdoors, she loves coming into the house for "couch time" to watch tv with us, and especially likes our German Shepherd's dog cot. She would make a fantastic candidate for an indoor rabbit, and I believe would be very easy to train to a litter box. We would love for Chewbunka to be adopted to a single-rabbit forever home where she can have couch time, cuddles, and eat carrots and banana peels to her heart's content. We are asking a modest adoption fee of $25 to help feed for the rescued rabbits rescuing.
