Arts group forming based on grass-roots spirituality helping people create and market arts based on developing ways to handle problems, deploying proverbial wisdom, and working on projects. One member is NY-based and has been on Lallapalooza and other major festivals, been a member of different non-profit boards, has done over 100 shows including CBGBs, and has four books out and several CDs. The Seattle-based member has over 15 books released of poetry and non-fiction, an LP of music released on a French label, and has created innovative software. But even with these creditials both are focusing on a virtue-based aesthetic based on helping people overcome major problems like loneliness, addiction, and being freed from the negative mindset that is fosterd by much of the media today, including that aimed at youth. A major inspiritation is the networking of the Surrealist movement, the academic purity of Bauhaus, and the crafts-based mindset and tactics of the Roycrofters. They have known each other for over 25 years and have known many others in the arts and music communities. Looking for other creative types and people in general with web building skills, video skills, music engineering, proofreading, or who can just help with things like book collation, burning CD's and so on. There may be some money paid to some based on projects but if that is your only goal with please do not contact us. Projects working on is building up an artist "colony" in house in Shoreline area, and a coffee house/bookstore. People of faith-based backgrounds encouraged to contact us.
