Troutdale plumbing company looking for a plumber's helper - we currently have 12 plumbers in our install and service departments in need of helpers. Many of our helpers have gone on to the apprenticeship program, so this could be a way to get your foot in the door. Duties include: * Help plumbers by performing duties of lesser skill * Pick up and delivery of parts and supplies * Using, supplying or holding materials or tools * Help load, unload, transport and furnish plumbers with materials, tools, equipment and supplies * Clean work areas, restock supplies and materials as necessary * Excavate for water service repair/replacement * Help install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, urinals, water heaters, water softeners and others Requirements: (1) Good driving record, valid driver's license, reliable transportation (2) High School diploma or GED (3) Ability to follow instructions (4) Ability to think and work independently (5) Ability to work in changing environments and conditions Physical demands: (1) Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally (2) Work outside in all types of weather conditions (3) Kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull and twist on a constant and repetitive basis (4) Stand, walk, talk, see, hear within normal range and perform repetitive motion activities (5) Able to do overhead work for long durations (6) Comfortable working in confined spaces Benefits include: *Health *Dental *Vision *STD and LTD *401k matching plan *Birthday off with pay *PTO/Sick pay *$10,000 life insurance.
