Friendly and welcoming networking group for professionals in transition since 2010, offering support and connections. LAK Group is a proud sponsor of Dovetail, and President Mike Milsted is actively involved in making connections for attendees of this dynamic event. Founded by alumni of an outplacement program in the height of the Recession, Dovetail has been hosted at Alioto's on the 3rd Wednesday of every month for 12 years. We're grateful to hosts Liz and Mike Hackett for their hospitality. The founders called it Dovetail to describe the strength of the community, comparing it to a carpentry technique that is "noted for its resistance to being pulled apart ." You'll find people attending with roots from its origins in 2010, with the simple desire to help others.
