Hi, I'm Penny Lane (best as only dog in home). I'm set to be PUT DOWN March 14th, 8 am. Why am I E-listed? STRESS!!...It's sad...I am not doing well in my kennel. I'm struggling daily and I'm getting worse as time goes on (See details below.) It is inhumane to keep me here!! Can you save my life? I'm a 1-year-old, spayed, brindle and white American Pit Bull Terrier Mix (48 lbs). I first came to the shelter as a stray. I was adopted, and then I was returned after a month for not getting along with other dogs. Prior owner said: I LOVE people, know 'sit and 'stay' and want to cuddle for affection. I love to play fetch and like toys but be careful I almost swallowed part of a toy so I do best with balls that I can't chew up. Again, I am so stressed in my kennel, but, once out on a walk, I do calm down nicely. Being in a kennel day after day with limited opportunities for walks and play time is the problem, not me! I need to be out of here ASAP. It is required that I be an ONLY dog at this time, that children in the home be 12+ because I get a little excited and may knock little ones down, it is recommended that I meet the family, that I have time to decompress, can you help me...
