This 4 day course will focus on Shingle Systems for Steep Slope roofing as well as the basic principles of Sales. The hands on portion will provide not just spec book; but real world application of roofing fundamentals and shingle installation. This portion of the class will segue into our basic sales module. Understanding the products and application requirements of each provides a sales professional with a huge advantage. "Swinging a hammer" can be a great career choice for not just the "hands on" types but those that are interested in developing deep skills in the roofing trade. Program Details:-This program will focus on Shingle Systems for Steep Slope roofing as well as the basic principles of Sales. The graduates of the class will have knowledge and skills to enter into the roofing industry. -Graduates will receive a certificate of completion as a GAF Roofing Academy Certified Graduate. -Upon Completion, graduates will have the opportunity to interview with our certified contractors and employers in the area for full-time employment. -$250 stipend will be provided upon completion of the training. -Transportation to and from the training facility is the responsibility of the attendee. -Graduates will be provided a set of basic roofing hand tools. -Light breakfast and lunch provided each day.
