Iowa Staffing is seeking qualified candidates for a 1st Shift Quality Control Lead position for a manufacturing company located near Ames, IA. Must have previous Quality Control experience. Will need to communicate well on technical and production levels and relay quality control information to production lead as well as plant manager. Will need good computer skills. Pay will be $15.00-$18.00 an hour based on experience and capability. Below are the requirements: -Must have 2+ years of recent, verifiable quality control experience in a manufacturing setting -Ability to read and understand various production documents such as Work Orders, Bills of Materials, Product specifications, and product drawings -Immediate reporting of products, components, or materials failing to meet specifications -Experience with various test equipment including callpers, scales, force, gauges, power supplies, and multimeters is desired -Demonstrate understanding of company quality policies and standard operating procedures pertaining to quality and laboratory -Must have good communication skills both verbal and written -Must have a professional demeanor and good problem-solving skills -Must have solid experience and knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel Spreadsheets and good overall computer skills -Must be detailed and efficient To apply please stop by our office between the hours of 8:00 am-11:00 am or 1:00 pm-4:00 pm.
