Genuinely kind of hate to do this, but I am rehoming one of my hamsters. His name is s’mores and he is a male Syrian. He is a ghost hamster (Wakes up whenever I’m asleep, and doesn’t get up until the lights are off) and is extremely skittish. I’ve been trying to work with him and he refuses to take treats from me, and usually runs away when I open the lid to his cage. He is not a child friendly animal due to him waking up really late at night or early in the morning. He does not like being held and is extremely squirmy when you try handling him. He does go into mugs or random items I put in front of him when I need to weigh him weekly. Hamsters are a crespuluar animal. I would love for him to go to someone who can PROVIDE the bare minimum for him and might have a better chance at taming him than I can. Syrian hamsters need at least 600 sq inches of floorspace. A seed mix and lab block for a proper diet, Syrians need 10-12” wheels, proper sand, and sand bath container, etc.) he has never bit me, or anyone in my family. He’ll come with the rest of his seed mix & a small baggy of mazuri rat and mouse blocks. Does not come with anything else, and he is free to a good home. I will ask questions to ensure you’re at least knowledgeable about hamster care. I’m unsure how old he is.
