Civil Works Contracting is a heavy civil company out of Wilmington NC. We are currently looking for skilled heavy equipment operators in the Charleston area. We are looking for fine grade operators to operate bulldozers and excavators. Bulldozer operators must be able to fine grade grade within plus or minus a tenth, must be familiar with GPS or willing to learn and be able to read grade stakes. Excavator operators must be able to dig retention ponds, dig swales, pull slopes, dig for storm drain, demo concrete, asphalt and load trucks safely and efficiently and read grade stakes. This is a six month project and hours required will average 50 to 60 hours a week. This is a full time position and employees will be required to work in the Wilmington NC market after the job is complete.
