Let's celebrate Women's History Month embracing the importance of women in social movements. Exhibiton, presentation & informal talk. In honor of Women's History month, let's embrace the importance of women in social movements. Come and mingle to enjoy an exhibition of black women from the suffrage movement, who paved the way for women's right to vote. Then, we will have a short presentation about the courageous women's strike here in Lynn asking for equal pay, who were the women on the posters and the price women paid to take the right to vote. We'll finish the afternoon with an informal conversation about the importance of women in current times to be game changers. Special guest and local leaders will share their views. This event is a collaboration between Lynn Waling Shoe Tours and the North Shore Juneteenth Association.
