LAS VEGAS, NV — Six Democratic presidential candidates are set to take the debate stage Wednesday night in Las Vegas ahead of Nevada's caucuses on Saturday. The Democratic presidential debate is scheduled for 9 to 11 p.m. ET and will be hosted by NBC, MSNBC and The Nevada Independent. The event will take place at the Paris Hotel and Casino. This is the first debate that includes former Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York; he will join five other Democratic candidates who are no strangers to the debate stage. Former Vice President Joe BidenFormer South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete ButtigiegU.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar of MinnesotaU.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of VermontU.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren of MassachusettsU.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and billionaire Tom Steyer are both still in the race but did not qualify for the debate under Democratic Party rules. The candidates will have one minute and 15 seconds for answers and 45 seconds for follow-up responses. The moderators are Lester Holt, Chuck Todd and Hallie Jackson of NBC, Vanessa Hauc of Noticias Telemunda and Jon Ralston of The Nevada Independent. Of the two voting contests so far, Buttigieg and Sanders remain more or less tied in Iowa, and Sanders won in New Hampshire. Heading into Wednesday's debate, Sanders has a slight edge over the other candidates, according to the most recent polls. How to watch: The debate will be broadcast on NBC and MSNBC.
