On Thursday night we encountered each other in the baking aisle. I was looking for some bread flour and noticed you were eyeing the spices. We made eye contact a few times and just nodded to each other. I heard you murmur to yourself they didn’t have any dill spice. I spoke up and mentioned they have fresh dill in the produce. You gave me a profound look and said “the only fresh dill I like ends in dough” it caught me off guard cause I never have had dill bread before and wonder how it would be. I laughed and nervously commented “ that would be nice to try” you giggled “ I bet you would like to try a big one”. I nodded my head and smile and continues along my list. I was reaching for the baking powder when you stepped closer and whispered “ make sure to use baking soda when you cut the cocaine cause if you use baking powder that’s how you get muffins growing out your nose” and you walked away giggling. I never had a chance to get that dill dough recipe from you. Hoping you see this to share it with me. Maybe I can make some bread and you can come butter my muffins. M
