Young Professional’s Institute (YPI) is a full-time high school equivalency and internship program for young adults (ages 16-24) who are not in school and would like to earn their GED (High School Equivalency diploma) and gain experience in the field of their choice. Click here or scan to apply and one of our staff will contact you to begin What do you receive? $150/week stipend based on attendance OR paid internship GED prep classes - become prepared to take the test in 4 months Certification in medical & human services or manufacturing or marketing & entrepreneurship Daily MetroCards Daily hot lunch QUALIFICATIONS: • Must be 16-24 years of age • Must reside in the 5 boroughs • Must be able to attend evening classes 2-7 pm • CANNOT have high school diploma or equivalency • CANNOT be working during program hours • CANNOT be enrolled in school Document requirements: •A valid photo ID • An official piece of mail dated in the last 6 months under your name or head of household's name • Signed social security card •Birth certificate *If you are under 18: full time working papers and guardian consent
