Events Staff ( Part Time / Flex Work ) $18 -$23 /hr - Philadelphia, New Jersey & Delaware A convention staff member is responsible for helping to set up, run, and break down convention/meeting conference events. Convention staff sometimes work alone, but typically work in a team to handle tasks such as greeting, registering, bad -stuffing, directing attendees, flyering, and time-keeping for speeches. -Neat, professional appearance -Reliability and responsibility -Great attitude is a necessity -Detail-oriented -Takes direction well, but can also take initiative if needed -Part-time, on-call position for upscale catered and non-catered events -Mostly (but not only) daytime hours -Your schedule dictates when you accept an assignment or not -Jobs are in the city and surrounding suburbs -Having your own vehicle is not required but it is a plus -May be required to lift at least 25 pounds -Experience is not necessary as we will train the right people; however, it is a plus if you have experience in the event industry.
