Healthy snacks are provided.
Workshop is limited to twelve participants. COVID-19 vaccination required.
Ages 16 and over are welcome.
Tickets are $70.
About the Instructor:
Gary Swenor shot his first roll of Kodak Tri-X Pan back in the early seventies. He has been an elementary school principal and high school English teacher, where he served as the faculty advisor for the Camera Club, organizing trips to Yosemite National Park—where his own photography interests originated. His art is currently on display at Art for the People Gallery in South 1st Street and at Skandinavia Contemporary Interiors on South Lamar Blvd. Recently, his Big Bend National Park collection was a highlight of ArtUs Co’s exhibition for the 2021 Austin Studio Tour. His extensive teaching experience paired with his skill with a camera make him an ideal instructor for emerging photographers.
ArtUs Co is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization that supports local artists by providing affordable spaces for them to create, share and sell their work with the Austin community.
