A vintage rockin' record hop, with a beginner-friendly swing dance lesson beforehand, with food, as well as fun n' friendly company? On a late Saturday morning? And for the "exorbitant" fee of ...$1 dollar? In these times, where are you going to find that kind of a deal for a fun social dance event? Well, admittedly, this is our way of restarting our swing dance program that was put on hiatus due to the worldwide you-know-what. Saturday, June 18, 2022 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. East Coast Swing/'50's "Jitterbug" Lesson (Beginner friendly, no experience necessary.) 10:45 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. Open Dancing to vintage '50's Jump Blues, Doo Wop, Rockabilly, and Teeners. Snacks will be provided. * Guests are welcome to contribute in a potluck fashion, but are not required to, as there will be enough snacks for everyone. Cost? $1 dollar.
