A Celebration Honoring Our 2022 Graduating Class Each year, the UIC Chapters of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) and Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) come together to celebrate the accomplishments of their graduating seniors. You are cordially invited to attend this year's M4 Banquet, themed "Celebrating Excellence & Diversity in Medicine." We look forward to sharing this experience with our graduating fourth-year medical students and their family and friends, in person! Your contribution will help LMSA and SNMA raise funds to further their collective mission of meeting the healthcare needs of Chicago's underserved communities and promoting the ambitions of Underrepresented in Medicine (URiM) students pursuing medical careers. All profits from this year's event will go towards the 2022 Dr. Jose Ignacio Choca Scholarship. Every year, two Choca scholarships are offered to incoming UIC College of Medicine students. COVID SAFETY PROTOCOL: All attendees are encouraged to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Pre-registration via Eventbrite and tickets will be required for entry. All guests will be encouraged to mask for the duration of the event, unless eating or drinking. Location: 3471 N Elston Ave, Chicago, IL 60618 Parking: To be announced closer to event date. General Admission: Ticket includes guest admission to the banquet, celebration of the graduates, appetizers, dinner, dessert and unlimited wine/beer bar for 2 hours. Sponsors: Departments, organizations, and individuals are welcome to sponsor the event and our scholarship fund. Platinum tier sponsors will receive a Grand Table (this includes 10 tickets to the event). Gold tier sponsors will receive a half table (this includes 5 tickets to the event). Bronze tier sponsors will receive a quarter table (this includes 3 tickets to the event). Sponsors will be prominently featured in our program including your department/company's logo and description. Donations: We are very thankful for your support! All donations are appreciated and they allow us to mitigate costs for M4s attending the banquet. Please note that donations will not include tickets to the event. Check-in: Doors will open at 3:30PM.
