Description

Shark is an energetic, playful, intelligent, good, good boy who loves people and LOVES other dogs. He is 50lbs, vaccinated, neutered, and chipped. If you are looking for a running partner, someone to chase you in circles around your yard, or for a playmate for your energetic dog, Shark is the boy for you. 🦈 facts: ✔️ About equal parts husky, malamute, and german shepherd, with a little bit of collie mixed in (according to Embark). ✔️ 50lbs, up-to-date on shots, neutered, chipped. ✔️ Doesn't mind being handled! You can pick him up and carry him around like a baby and he let's you. ✔️ Trimming his nails is a breeze. ✔️ Favorite places are dog park & doggy daycare. ✔️ Typically quiet, but when the mood strikes him, has the beautiful singing voice of a husky :) ❗ Sometimes shy around larger, unfamiliar dogs -- until he gets to know them. ❗ Often too high-energy for smaller dogs and young children. ❗ Not crate-trained, but sleeps through the night in his crate once he's used to his surroundings. ❗ Biting history! Shark bites out of excitement and frustration often, but has never bitten out of aggression. The ideal home for Shark is with someone who has experience with high-energy dogs like him and has the time, energy, and patience to give him the stimulation he needs; someone with the means/ability to get a large dog like him back and forth from the vet; and someone with a secure, fenced yard, or someone with plans to take him out often. Shark comes with all of his equipment, including an XL Kong-brand crate, lots of stinky treats and toys, and some kibble. As for a rehoming fee, I'm not comfortable gaining any money from rehoming him, so instead ask that you make a donation of $150 or more to any animal welfare organization in the PNW in order to adopt Shark. If you are interested in Shark, then please shoot me an e-mail talking about your plans for him, what your home and lifestyle are like, what experience you have with dogs, why you want a dog or why you want Shark specifically, or any other details you care to include. Or if you have any questions! E-mail is my preferred method of contact, so please do not send me a number asking me to text you. Thanks!
