We're BARNABY JONES - some kinda punk/funk/metal/grunge thing out of SE Portland (Youtube links at the bottom to hear us live). We've amicably parted ways with our incredible vocalist and are hoping to find our next amazing front person for this journey. Our hope is to find someone who fits into our fold and is really excited about performing and creating our music with us. RIGHT NOW - Currently a 4-piece. 3 guys and 1 non-binary person. Ages 29-32 - 2 records out now and are a large portion of the way through writing our 3rd. - practice once a week (currently sundays, but we are open to work around your schedule) and are all good friends outside of our band. - we have a practice space and gear, we just need a singer! OUR GOALS - Ideally, we'd like to play ~12 shows a year. We'd like to resume gigging sometime around May/June if possible. - We aren't travel-focused but would like to do some regional 'mini-tours' over weekends/holidays once or twice a year - Livestream shows/practices would be cool once we feel comfortable with a streaming setup and a new singer. - We'd like to do a new line of merch to accompany our next release. EXPECTATIONS - You can sing the material obv :-). We're def open to male vocalists, but realistically it may be a struggle. Vocal range in our material is quite high. We're willing to make small key/melody changes to accommodate if necessary. - You want to be a front person and not just a vocalist.
